"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack
This webpage was originally designed in early 1997 as a reference source of links to tutorials and other resources on the Internet in subjects taught at a two year technical college in Tennessee. The scope has expanded beyond this original objective. ARC refers to Academic content of Internet Resources for the Core subject areas in Mathematics, the Sciences, Engineering, and Technology at the college level. There is some slant toward areas that involve computers. Major categories appear under the LINKS menu selection above. Subject areas appear under each major category. Links that appear under each subject area are numbered. The numbering system is purely for identification purposes. The numbers do not represent any kind of ranking system of the individual websites.
Anyone can certainly google these sites on their own. However, my purpose is to save the user time by providing a number of links in each content area. I have reviewed each link that is posted. Based on my experience as a professional tutor, only links that I feel are the most helpful are published on this website. Users should think of this site as only a starting point in their internet searching.
I hope both student and lifelong learner alike will find these links useful.
